Stage Craft

Whether a beginner painter, or master carpenter— stagecraft has a home for anyone willing to be creative. Tasked with the responsibility of building and dressing two stage productions a year, stagecraft students learn the fundamentals of scene design and the process of making it come to life.

Students who take Stagecraft will walk away with handyman skill sets including basics of power tools, mass and detail painting, foam work, prop making, and many more. Leadership and initiative is prioritized in this studio course as students are asked to problem solve, think outside the box, and work together on unique projects that are both challenging and rewarding, but also fun!
